Kelly should absolutely engage in gender price discrimination for the Nail Brightening Cream. It is evident that women like polished and good-looking nails more than men. Taking advantage of this necessity by women to have good nails is necessary to make more revenue and profits for the company. Setting a higher price for women than men will not prevent them from purchasing the product as they absolutely need the product. Their desire to have good-looking and polished nails will push them to purchase the product at a higher cost.

From her own research, it is evident to Kelly those across-the-board women products are generally priced higher than men. This is particularly true with branding. Women tend to prefer pink colours which are more feminine than other colours. Kelly should package her nail product to be pink and maybe blue. The pink product for women should be priced 13% higher than the men's product. Women are attracted to feminine colours such as pink and advertisers are alive to this fact. Pink products are priced more than other colours. It is evident that women are willing to pay more for products that respond to their feminine needs. The pink colour is attractive and pleasing to women.

The New York city department of consumer affairs did market research on products. They found that there was a pink tax. Pink products were priced higher than any other colour. This shows that women are willing to pay more for products that are pink. Still, on the study, it was found that personal care products for women were priced 13% higher…
